Cherry Tree Family Centre

PRS were appointed in May 2022 to provide architectural design consultancy and Principal Designer services to the LB of Lambeth to develop proposals for the Cherry Tree Family Assessment Centre in West Norwood.

This project aims to provide an accessible and local family resource centre, which will promote the core values of children at the heart of the model. There is a need for these facilities within the borough, as well as potential demand from neighbouring boroughs, and the proposed location of Cherry Tree nursery school building has been identified as being suitable.

PRS are developing proposals where the two services – a family Assessment Centre and a Family Contact Centre – can function within the same building. The family Assessment Centre and the Family Contact Centre have different requirements and need to operate separately. The proposed centre needs to provide a nurturing family friendly venue.
