Pringle Richards Sharratt were appointed in 2012 by a private client to explore the development potential for this Grade II listed four storey terraced house in the heart of Belgravia.
We worked closely with the client, the City of Westminster Planners and the Grosvenor Estate to sensitively remodel and extend the basement level of the house beneath the entire rear garden providing two en suite bedrooms and a glazing link flooded with natural day light from a central landscaped courtyard. Above the basement extension we raised the existing garden to the same level as the ground floor kitchen to remove the previous stepped access; increasing the visual and physical connection this secluded private external space.
In addition the entire house was refurbished including the re configuration of the master suite on the first floor and creation of a new family bathroom on the second floor.
