Pringle Richards Sharratt reveal £3.3m museum refurb
Pringle Richards Sharratt has unveiled its £3.3 million overhaul of the Museum of English Rural Life in Reading.
Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the redesign has allowed the museum’s collection to be revitalised through 10 new galleries with each space designed to incorporate different learning styles and areas of focus to draw visitors into the stories and landscape of the English countryside.
Changes include an improved welcome area as well as additional educational, display and storage areas supplement opportunities for more in-depth learning.
The scheme was carried out for client Reading university.
