Ian Sharratt
Studied at Manchester College of Art & Design and The Royal College of Art from 1972 to 1976. In 2003 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Sheffield Hallam University. Ian is a member of the Cabe Design Review Panels for Crossrail and the Thames Tunnel and joined the London Design Review Panel of Design Council Cabe in April 2012. He has been a validator for The Open University on courses at the Architectural Association and Hon Treasurer of the RIBA Building Industry Trust. For 9 years he was a Governor and Chair of the Grounds and Building Committee at King Alfred’s School, London. Ian has taught and lectured widely including at The Royal College of Art, The Architectural Association, Kingston University and was a visiting tutor to the Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania, 2000-2001. Ian was a partner at Michael Hopkins & Partners until 1996 and is a Founder Director of Pringle Richards Sharratt.
